Summary: By booking our services or using our website, you agree to these terms. We provide professional dryer vent cleaning at flat-rate pricing. Payment is due on completion. You must provide safe access for our technician. We are not responsible for pre-existing issues discovered during service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Precision Vent Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") and your use of our website at precisionventservices.com. By scheduling a service appointment, submitting a service request, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting Precision Vent Services to request a service appointment — whether by phone, online form, email, or text — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These Terms apply to all customers, website visitors, and individuals who request or receive services from Precision Vent Services.

2. Services Provided

Precision Vent Services provides the following professional dryer vent services to residential and light commercial customers in Lehigh Valley, PA and surrounding areas:

  • Standard dryer vent cleaning (dryer to exterior exit)
  • Exterior vent hood inspection and cleaning
  • Before and after airflow verification
  • Transition hose replacement
  • Exterior vent hood replacement
  • Bird nest and debris removal (non-live only)
  • Minor accessible vent repair and reconnection
  • Dryer rear interior cleaning

3. Scope of Work & Limitations

What Is Included

Our standard service ($189) includes full vent line cleaning from the dryer to the exterior exit, exterior hood cleaning, airflow testing before and after, dryer repositioning, lint trap cleaning, and workspace cleanup.

What Is NOT Included

  • Major HVAC ductwork redesign or replacement
  • Vent rerouting through walls, ceilings, or attic spaces
  • Removal of live animals — requires a licensed wildlife removal company
  • Dryer appliance repair, diagnosis, or parts replacement
  • Gas line work of any kind
  • Work requiring permits beyond our operational scope
Important: If our technician identifies issues outside our scope during service, we will inform you clearly and recommend the appropriate professional. We will never perform out-of-scope work without your explicit approval.

Add-On Services

Any add-on services identified during a visit will be quoted clearly and require your verbal or written approval before work proceeds. No add-on service will be performed without your consent.

4. Scheduling & Cancellation

Booking & Confirmation

Your appointment is confirmed once you receive direct confirmation from our team. Submitting an online request form does not automatically confirm an appointment.

Cancellation by Customer

  • 24+ hours notice: No charge
  • Less than 24 hours notice: No charge for first occurrence; repeat same-day cancellations may result in a rescheduling fee
  • No-shows (technician arrives, no access): A service call fee may apply to cover technician travel time

Cancellation by Precision Vent Services

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, equipment issues, technician illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as early as possible and offer to reschedule at your convenience.

5. Pricing & Payment

Standard Pricing

Our standard residential dryer vent cleaning is priced at a flat rate of $189. This rate applies to standard residential configurations within our core service area.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of service
  • No deposits are required for standard residential service
  • We accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe online payment, and cash
  • A digital invoice will be provided upon completion
Our Commitment: You will never be charged for work you did not approve. Any price adjustment from the quoted rate requires your explicit approval before it takes effect.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access: Ensure the technician has reasonable, safe access to the dryer, laundry area, and exterior vent at the scheduled time
  • Clearance: Remove items stored around or on top of the dryer before arrival (minimum 24 inches behind the dryer)
  • Pets: Secure pets in another area of the home during service
  • Disclosure: Inform us of any known vent issues, unusual routing, or prior service history
  • Safe Conditions: Ensure the work area is free of hazardous materials or unsafe structural conditions

7. Limitation of Liability

Pre-Existing Conditions

Precision Vent Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, deterioration, or deficiencies in your vent system or surrounding materials discovered during service. If we find a pre-existing issue, we will notify you and discuss your options.

Incidental Damage

Our liability for any incidental damage caused during service is limited to the cost of the service performed. We carry full liability insurance and will address any legitimate damage claims promptly and professionally.

Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Property Access & Care

Our standard practices on every visit:

  • Wearing shoe covers upon entry to your home
  • Laying a protective drop cloth in the work area
  • Containing all lint and debris removed during cleaning
  • Leaving the work area clean and orderly upon completion
  • Returning the dryer to its original position and reconnecting all components

By scheduling service, you grant Precision Vent Services permission to access your property for the purpose of performing the agreed service only.

9. Service Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the quality of our cleaning service, please contact us within 7 days of your service date. We will return to address any legitimate concerns at no additional charge.

Our guarantee does not cover pre-existing vent deficiencies, new lint accumulation after service, issues resulting from dryer malfunction, or vent configurations that require repair beyond cleaning scope.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we ask that you first contact us directly to allow us the opportunity to resolve the matter quickly and fairly. We will respond within 2 business days.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northampton or Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.

11. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to:

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to access, modify, or disrupt any part of the website
  • Not submit false or misleading information through our forms
  • Not reproduce our content without written permission

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
